Perhaps the most enigmatic member of the Akatsuki is Zetsu. His distinctive two-toned appearance hints at his dual nature, a literal embodiment of the yin and yang symbol. He has two personalities: Black Zetsu, the cunning manifestation of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki's will, operates from the shadows, pulling strings to engineer her revival, and then White Zetsu, the more offbeat half who originates from the unfortunate souls trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Zetsu may not be as powerful as some of his Akatsuki colleagues, but his strength lies in his cunning and deceptive nature. A master of espionage, Zetsu is capable of moving undetected thanks to his Mayfly technique that allows him to merge with his surroundings. He can also split into Black and White Zetsu, which adds another layer to his deceitfulness. In the end, Zetsu's reign of manipulation came to an end when Naruto Uzumaki, imbued with the Sage of Six Paths' power, sealed Kaguya, severing Black Zetsu's connection to her and ultimately leading to his demise.
